Each legislative session presents an opportunity to advocate for Iowa’s water, land, and climate, and the 2019 session is a new opportunity to make a statement on water quality, energy efficiency, and more. Let’s capitalize on it!
Join individuals and organizations from across Iowa on Thursday, March 21, at the Iowa State Capitol to advocate for Iowa’s natural resources at Environmental Lobby Day.
Environmental Lobby Day
Thursday, March 21, 2019
8:30 AM – 1 PM
Iowa State Capitol
RSVP
Last year, dozens of advocates and more than 25 organizations participated, where they called on policymakers to support our natural resources through sustained funding. Let’s build on that and make this our largest day at the Capitol yet.
Individual activists and organizations are invited to participate in Environmental Lobby Day. There is no cost to attend for individual attendees but an RSVP is requested. Organizations that would like a table at Environmental Lobby Day at the Capitol must pre-register to display, even if they have participated in past years.
Display space is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so don’t delay – register your organization today. Priority is given to the Iowa Environmental Council member organizations, which may reserve display space at no cost as a benefit of membership.
Organizations that are not members of the Council may request and reserve a table for $50 each or choose to the Join and Register option for $100. Organizations that choose this option will receive a one-year Organizational Membership with IEC and an Environmental Lobby Day table at no cost.
