Friend of the Environment, RSVP for the Cedar Falls screening of the powerful documentary, "Iowa's Dirty Secret: The True Cost of Burning Coal."

Through oversized logos on wind turbines and glossy flyers sent with their monthly bills, Iowans have been led to believe that their energy is clean. But in reality, MidAmerican Energy operates five coal plants across the state, part of the dirtiest coal fleet in the country. This short film examines the cost of coal through first-hand accounts shared by Iowa families who live near the coal plants, doctors who have seen the health impacts of coal pollution, and the advocates fighting for something better.
