The legislature’s attack on clean energy continues this week with a major tax reform bill that repeals the Iowa solar tax credit effective July 1 of this year. This attack will undermine Iowa’s growing solar market and threaten jobs, investment, and consumer savings across Iowa.
Since 2012, the $21.6 million provided to Iowans by the solar tax credit has delivered more than $166 million in investments across all 99 counties in Iowa. 800 people come to work each day in Iowa in the solar industry.
