The Iowa Environmental Council is a nonprofit, nonpartisan alliance of diverse organizations and individuals working together to protect and preserve Iowa’s environment.

Today the Council has more than 90 member organizations. Comprised of non-profits, community groups, and for-profit businesses from across the state, these groups compose the coalition that is the backbone of IEC's work.

The applicant acknowledges that they are supportive of the Iowa Environmental Council's vision and mission.

All organizational applicants must be approved by the Board of Directors of the Iowa Environmental Council. Once submitted, the application will be reviewed by staff and the applicant will be contacted with any questions. The Board of Directors will review and vote on the application at the next monthly board meeting. If approved, the organization will be contacted to make membership payment.
